About This Release
This release is a full version of the MarketStudio 10.9.5. It can coexist on the same with earlier point releases of the product starting from Version 10.5.
What’s New
The following features are available in this release and OCP & Console were developed using Angular 12.0.5 and Web API:
1. PIM
1.1.Implemented the left side filters (Categories / Products / Product & Item attributes) concept in PIM and the product list is shown on the right side similar to OCP.
1.2.Previously only the Item count was being shown at product level and currently the system additionally displays the product count at category / Sub-category levels.
1.3.InDesign – Download all Project files - User can now optionally download the project XML file(s) into the user’s local drive and all the XML files will be compressed into one ZIP file and downloaded to the user’s local drive (client machine).
1.4.In InDesign projects page, we have implemented the new “Upload file to server” option so that user can upload the generated XML file into the predefined server path. The path is configurable in “Web.config” file to a hosted path on the server.
1.5.In InDesign projects page, after adding the products into the project, the products will be displayed in the grid. User can navigate to the category / product by clicking the category or product name.
1.6.Asset Management Enhancements - User can download the images into JPG format with the predefined sizes. User cannot change the height / width details.
1.7.In Digital Assets, the system displays the image status by checking the image name that exists in database (attribute value) to that in Asset management (physical path). If the image does not exist in the Asset path then it will display the image as a question mark image (?).
1.8.In Digital Assets, user can add a star to an asset file and see the starred asset files in a separate page. In all asset pages users can see the star to the asset file.
1.9.Attribute Edit page - Implemented the option to filter the attributes for a selected Catalog. By default the system will list the attributes for the working Catalog.
1.10.The “create by default” option has been enabled while creating new attributes. Previously it was available only in edit mode.
1.11.In previous version user can provide custom text like NIL of N/A for numeric value “0”, “0.00” or empty values. Currently we have implemented this for numeric values 0.000 & 0.0000.
1.12.In previous versions the summary page shows the pick list name count which was confusing for the users. Currently the system displays the new / updated / deleted picklist item count (not picklist name count) in the summary page.
1.13.When a user deletes Items using import process the Recycle Bin page will show the first Item# alone. Currently this has been fixed; when a user delete n number of ITEM# all the deleted ITEM# column will be displayed in brackets it displays the count of total number of items that were deleted. We can restore the deleted items from the recycle bin.
1.14.In the current version user can create new attributes in the single sheet import.
1.15.The search option has been implemented in import attribute mapping. Hence user can search and select the required attribute.
1.16.With the new release it is possible to import the Table Designer sheet alone without having to import category, product, and item sheets.
1.17.In some projects there are huge numbers of attributes (more than 400 attributes) and it is impacting the performance in export process like timeout issues, taking very long to export fully. We have reduced the export time by fine tuning the queries and changing the export logic.
2. OCP / ECP / CONSOLE
2.1.With this new version in Console, there is an option to setup up to 3 banner images and it will be displayed in OCP/ECP site dashboard page in marquee.
2.2.ECP features which allows user to enable / disable the ECP mode (“Product Variant” option) in CONSOLE. The website will work as ECP site if the admin user enables the “Product Variant” option otherwise it will work as OCP site. User can also setup the variant attributes to be displayed in ECP product details page, If admin user enables the “product variant” in CONSOLE and sets up the “list and grid” modes, it will apply in the view options of the product details page in ECP site.
2.3.In flipbook, we have implemented the Play, Zoom in option, Index in left side, by clicking upon the flipbook it will redirect to next page.
2.4.The Admin user can create the “Notification” in CONSOLE and admin user can set the number of days the notifications will be displayed on the screen.
2.5.With this new version admin user can create organization type & name during new user creation process. There is a separate page to create the complete organization details.
2.6.Admin user can enable / disable user registration process in OCP/ECP site by setting a flag in CONSOLE.
